Blandford Lodge is a thoroughbred horse stud situated 5kms out of Matamata in the heart of the Waikato, where many of New Zealand's major thoroughbred stud farms are based. The farm is a superior boarding class facility providing excellent client relationships and has a goal to breed quality racehorses for the global thoroughbred market.
Matamata, has a high annual rainfall, temperate climate and rich, free draining soils and is called the Kentucky of New Zealand. Blandford Lodge reaps the climate benefits of excellent pasture growth all year round.
