"I welcome the opportunity to be associated with Blandford Lodge in the role of manager. I bring to this role a fresh set of eyes, values and passion for where I see the industry is heading in the future. I am excited by this challenge as I have a genuine passion for horses and believe, surrounded and supported by a great team at Blandford Lodge, who are as dedicated as I am to absorb as much of the breeding aspect to ensure that Blandford Lodge remains a premier thoroughbred breeding farm.
Having been in the thoroughbred industry for more than 15 years in both the North and South Islands of New Zealand and Melbourne Australia, I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead in the future".
My background in the industry:
"I started off as a jumps jockey, then moved towards the training side of things working as foreman in various racing stables in Australia. I have worked at Blandford Lodge for two years as assistant and am now in a managerial role".
